Research Agenda

For 2023-2024 our thematic focus is:

Investment in the African Cultural and Creative Industries (CCIs).

The research will focus on the investment landscape, gaps, challenges, and opportunities across the African CCIs For 2023-24, this will focus on Nigeria, Kenya, South Africa, and Senegal, along with a regional overview. For following years, we will feature different countries. The research will encompass an analysis of opportunities to boost investment and enhance investor readiness across the African creative economy.

Our Impact

Insights Out Africa is dedicated to creating more visibility for CCI research about Africa by Africans, supporting a research environment for the CCIs in Africa, and encouraging more evidence-based policymaking and investments.

Insights Out Africa expects to make these outputs more digestible, accessible, and visible and increase the understanding and use of research to inform policy decisions and program design to unlock new support and opportunities for sector growth.

Andani Africa
